ATJF Member Forum

ATJF has created a reddit community (or subreddit) – an online forum where ATJF members can connect, discuss topics, and share information in a completely private space.

Member Community Guidelines:

• This is an Association (ATJF) community.  No promotion, marketing, soliciting, advertising or politics.  This community is a safe space is for best practices, discussions, recommendations and solutions.
• Remember that we are not Taco John’s employees.  If you have an immediate need, please contact Taco John’s International.
• This community will be moderated by admins which have complete authority over removing any topics, discussions or people over harmful misconduct.

Create Your reddit Account (if needed)

1. Go to Reddit: Open reddit.com or the Reddit app.
2. Find the Sign Up Button: Look for the “Sign Up” button, usually located in the top right corner of the page.
3. Choose a Sign-Up Method: You can sign up using your email address, a Google account, or an Apple ID.
4. Enter Email (if applicable): If you choose the email method, enter your email address.
5. Create a Username: Choose a username that you’d like to use on Reddit. This username can’t be changed once it’s created.
6. Set a Password: Choose a strong password.
7. Confirm and Continue: Follow any prompts to confirm your account and continue to the next step.
8. Complete Registration: You may be asked to verify your email address or complete other steps to finalize your registration.

Request To Join The r/ATJFmembers Community

1. Open Reddit in your internet browser. This will bring you to the Reddit front page. You’ll need to use your computer’s web browser to request to join a private subreddit. The mobile Reddit app for Android, iPhone, and iPad cannot display private subreddits and won’t let you to send a message to a group of moderators.
2. Sign in to your personal account by clicking Log In in the top-right corner.
3. Click the bell icon next to your username. This opens a dropdown menu with your notifications and your messages. Tap the Messages section on the right to pull up all of your communications on Reddit.
4. Click send a private message. This button is located next to the inbox tab in the top-left corner of your screen. It will start a new private message. Visiting the private subreddit’s page should also present you with the options to Message the Mods or Request to Join, both of which will open this same private message form.
5. Fill out the message form:
   1. Type the private subreddit name /r/ATJFmembers in the “to” field.
   2. Type “Request to Join” in the subject line
   3. Write a message expressing your desire to join the private subreddit. Provide your ownership contact information, store and ATJF IDs.
   4. Click Send
6. Check your messages inbox for a reply. Give the moderators some time to read your message, and regularly check your inbox for a reply. If your request is approved, you may receive an invite link from one of the moderators.
